Artfx+ Kotobukiya Superman & Green Lantern

 So finally a new package arrived at the mail.

 Of course they had to open it beforehand which is rather annoying. Come on people , the regular post office doesn`t open the packages , only the EMS branch opens to expect the package.

 Lots of bubble-wrap.

 And here are 2 of the members of the Justice League - Green Lantern and Superman

 First I opened the New 52 Superman. He has a different armor-type suit

 All of the Artfx+ line from Kotobukiya have this shiny metallic paint job  It`s really nice and different to most mat finishes of other statues.

  Very nice face sculpt. The paint apps of the suit are good. There are some imperfections but overall they don`t disappoint.

 It comes with a base. At the bottom of the feet there are magnets with help the figure to stick to the base.
One of Superman`s legs was a little crooked so it couldn`t stay flush on the ground. I don`t really want to return it so i`ll just go with it.

 The Artfx New 52 Green Lantern looks stunning as well. A very nice green metallic finish.
                                                     His legs are painted in a matte black.

 The ring has some green painted around it to show a glowing effect.

Overall they look very nice. A very nice purchase for any fan of the New 52 Superman or Green Lantern.

Hot Toys Samurai Predator 1/6 Scale

  Just got a big package from teh customz. God I hate dealing with the customs. The box was huge and weighed over 5 kilos. I took a few quick snapshots. When the weather is good and i have time I`ll take some proper pictures.

Inside the box there was a smaller box.

                                
                                Here is the front side of the box. Looks very cool.  Inside that big box there were another two small boxes that house the Samurai Predator and the alien base.
                                             

                                            
To make the base you have to put these parts into he alien's dead body.

It looks sick. Some people are obsessed with having a purple head to match the body, but I have to be honest - I bought purple paint  and had a plan of painting the head dark purple , but when I saw how the figure looks with this head in person , I have to say that it looks great. The pictures make the head really stand out and be in a different colour than the body , but in person the difference between the body and the head is not that big, so why bother ruining a great paint job and a very good black wash.

I just love the whole figure. The feel of the figure - it's superior to any other predator you owe - especially the Tracker , Falconer or Berserker (I own a Tracker and he is placed just next to the Samurai and pales in the level of detail of the armor, the base, the paintjob). The predators from the movie Predators are just plain as hell compared to the Samurai.
